CESLIE Studios, founded in New York City in 2003 and now thriving in the heart of downtown San Antonio, is a media and entertainment company dedicated to producing and distributing original, premium intellectual property.

Guided by a passion for storytelling, we specialize in multimedia storytelling, including journalism, narrative fiction, live experiential, and theatrical performance, crafting content we love and collaborating with brands we respect.

Our commitment to honoring the creative process drives our diverse slate of stories, docuseries, conversations, and live experiences, delivered through audio, video, print, still image, streaming, and live performance formats.

The studios and production offices are co-located with CESLIE Studios’ sister company, The BeXar Studios — where Ceslie Armstrong is CEO & Executive Producer— is named for the county of Bexar (bay-har). In 1731, Spanish settlers and Canary Islanders formed a civil government around the San Antonio River missions and named the area San Fernando de Bexar, which was under the authority of New Spain. Bexar County was formally established as one of the original 23 counties of the Republic of Texas in March 1836, and the massive area included most of Texas north and west of the current county, as well as parts of what are now New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. The studios are located at 110 Broadway in a historic building overlooking the Alamo on the capstone corner of E. Houston and Broadway streets in downtown San Antonio, steps from the famed River Walk; world-class hotels, restaurants, and experiences; the Majestic, Empire, and Tobin theatres, and so much more. The BeXar Studios includes a membership organization and is home to the BeXar Salon and a slate of Texas-centric original IP and programming.
